YMCA Education Centre Limited (the “company”) was incorporated in the Republic of Singapore on 21 September 2010 under the Companies Act, Chapter 50 as a company limited by guarantee. Under Article 9 of its Memorandum of Association, each member of the company guarantees to contribute a sum not exceeding S$100 to the assets of the company in the event of the same being wound up. The principal activities of the company are the provision of non-higher (YMCA School) and higher education (YMCA Tertiary) programmes. The company has been registered under the Enhanced Registration Framework with the Council for Private Education for a period of 4 years and is valid from 11 October 2010 to 10 October 2014. The company has been awarded the EduTrust certificate for a period of 4 years, which is valid from 16 December 2011 to 15 December 2015.
