Symbiosis International (Deemed University) administers the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) to applicants for admission to Symbiosis Institution. Admission to undergraduate programs in management, law, engineering, economics, mass communication, computer studies, and liberal arts is facilitated by the SET exam. The test for the B.Sc. Culinary Arts degree was previously administered as well, but it was discontinued in 2021 for this particular course. There will be an offline application process for the SET exam 2024, the application form, admission card, and results will all only be accessible online.

ELIGIBILITY

The candidate must have earned at least a 50% aggregate in their Class 12 or equivalent exam in the relevant streams from accredited board or university (45% for students in the SC/ST category.

Applicants who are in class 12 or who are waiting on their results can still apply, but they must present a passing certificate.

A candidate must receive an equivalency certificate from the Association of Indian University (AIU) if they have passed the Class 12 or equivalent test from any Foreign Board.

SYLLABUS

The SET exam syllabus 2024 should be known to candidates in advance of the SET entrance exam 2024 so they can prepare accordingly. All courses in the SET Symbiosis Syllabus have four primary sections: general awareness, numeric reasoning, logical and analytical reasoning and general English. The official syllabus and exam pattern brochure will also be released by the Symbiosis International Deemed University. The SET entrance test 2024 will comprise multiple choice questions for all course paper, in accordance with the exam pattern. Because there are distinct topics covered in each section of the SET test Syllabus 2024, candidates should carefully review the SET exam syllabus.

Quantitative- Percentage, Profit and Loss, Discount, Time, Speed and Distance, Algebra, Time and Work, Number System, Permutation and Combination, Probability.

Analytical and Logical Reasoning- Arrangement Series, Vann Diagram, Blood Relations, Syllogism, Assumptions, Verbal Reasoning (cause and effect), Situation-based Decision Making.

General Awareness- Current Affairs, Companies and Founders, Books and Authors, Science, Awards and Sports

General English- Synonyms, Antonyms, Fill in the Blank, Error Spotting, Prepositions, Grammar, Analogy, Articles and Vocabulary.
