Master of Computer Applications at the National Institute of Technology, or NIMCET Exams called the Common Entrance Test are given to candidates for MCA programs. This entrance exam is held annually to provide admission to participating NITs' Masters in Computer Application (MCA) program.
Applicants must pass the NIMCET exam with a high score in order to be assigned to seats at different NIT campuses. Every year, about 25,000 students apply for the NIMCET, and about 805 seats are available in 9 NITs in India. In addition to NITs, a large number of colleges and institutions take NIMCET results into account when admitting students to their MCA programs.
The test will be administered virtually in a number of national cities using a computer-based format. The syllabus and pattern for the NIMCET exam 2024 can be found here for candidates. There will be 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the NIMCET 2024 question paper covering English, Logic, Computer Awareness, and Mathematics. The exam will last two hours.
