The National Testing Agency administers the computer-based JEE Main exam online each year to applicants hoping to enroll in undergraduate programs at India’s top engineering universities. There are two papers in JEE Nain 2024: Paper 1 and 2. The first paper (Paper 1) is intended for candidates who want to study undergraduate engineering programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IITs, other centrally funded Technically Institutions (CFTIs), and universities funded or acknowledge by state governments that participate. The second paper is intended for candidates who want to enroll in B.Arch. and B.planning courses.

ELIGIBILITY
Age Limit- Examines of any age who passed the class 12 or its equivalent in 2022, 2023, or who are taking the test in 2024 are eligible to take it.
Qualification Examination- Any authorized Central or State Board’s 10+12 exam must have been passed by the candidates. Several reputable boards are council for the Indian School Certificate Examination, located in New Delhi, and Central Board of Secondary Education located in New Delhi.
National Institute of Open Schooling- candidate must pass the National institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) senior secondary exam in the top five subjects, which are physics, chemistry, mathematics and other related subjects, in order to be eligible.
B.Arch./ B.Planning programs- in order to be considered for admission to the B.Arch. or B. Planning programs applicants must have passed the senior secondary examination in any combination of language, Physical, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics (which is required) and technical vocational subjects.
B.E./ B.Tech programs- candidates must have passed the senior secondary examination in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subjects, and any other subjects in order to be admitted to B.E./B.Tech programs.
Noted that, candidates must present a certificate from the Association of India Universities (AIU) stating that the examination they passed is equivalent to the class 12 examination if they have passed the class 12 (or equivalent) examination outside of the India or have failed the class 12 or equivalent to it, examination from any recognized Center or State Board of India.

The three-hour JEE Main exam consists of both numerical value answer (NAV) and multiple-choice question (MCQ) formats. Ninety questions comprise JEE Main Paper 1 with thirty questions from each subject, including Chemistry, Physics and mathematics. Ten are NAV and twenty are MCQs out of thirty. Only five of the ten NAV questions must be answered by the students. B in JEE Main Paper 2A. there are 82 questions in Arch, 30 in mathematics, 50 in General Aptitude and 2 in drawing. There are 105 questions in paper 2B for the B, Plan, with 30 coming from mathematics, 50 from general aptitude, and 25 from the planning.SYLLABUS

The “Sets and Relation” and “Functions” chapters comprise the former portion of the chapter on “Sets, Relations, and Functions.” The chapter on “Linear Programming “ and “Vectors and Three-Dimensional Geometry” have been combined into one.
It also includes, Sets, Relations and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinates, Permutations and Combinations, Binomial Theorem and its Simple Applications, Sequence and Series, Limit, Continuity and Differentiability, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Coordinate Geometry, 3D Geometry, Vector Algebra, Statistics and Probability and Trigonometry.
