The University Tuiuti is a university located in the city of Curitiba, in the state of Paraná, in Brazil. It has its origin in the old preparatory course for the Military School of Curitiba , created by the young Lieutenant Sydnei Lima Santos and Waldyr Jansen de Mello in 1958. The course ran from 1958 to 1964 in various venues in the city of Curitiba, among them the Reserve Officer Training Centre in the Square Osvaldo Cruz, the School Group Baron of Rio Branco and former college Parthenon. After this period, it was transferred to the Street May 24, in the former residence of the family Rangel Santos, already named Course Tuiuti.
