USF (Universidade São Francisco) is a fully-accredited Franciscan institution located in the State of São Paulo. With more than 36 years of experience, USF has graduated over 80.000 students. With campuses in Bragança Paulista, Campinas (Swift and Cambuí Districts), Itatiba and São Paulo, USF offers around 60 undergraduate and 30 graduate programs, including three Master and Doctoral degrees. It can be said that the history of the House of Our Lady of Peace (CNSP - ASF), sponsor of USF, started in 1182, with the birth of Francis of Assisi. He, son of a wealthy cloth merchant, set aside their property for love of neighbor, becoming the source of inspiration of the Franciscan ideal.But it is in 1945 that the Immaculate Conception of the Franciscan Province of Brazil, the Order of Friars Minor, officially founded the CNSP - ASF to provide education and assistance to the needy residents of Ipanema neighborhood in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
