The Foundation Federal University of Piauí, FUFPI, is a federal public university based in the city of Teresina, Piauí, Brazil, and college campuses in the cities of Parnaíba, peaks, Bom Jesus and Floriano. The Federal University of Piauí (FUFPI) was established under Law No. 5,528, of November 11, 1968 and officially installed on March 12, 1971, in order to create and maintain UFPI. The FUFPI consists of a Board of Directors, composed of seven permanent members, appointed by the President. The President of the Directing Council of FUFPI is also the Rector of UFPI.
