In December 1980, in the midst of a process of State for Administrative Reform, is extinguished the Foundation University of Feira de Santana - FUFS - through the Executive Law No. 11 of 12/29/80, succeeded by the State University of Feira de Santana - UEFS -, Special Municipality, created by the Executive Law No. 12 of 12/30/80. , the University is installed solemnly on May 31, 1976, with the following list of courses: 1st degree and 2nd degree in Languages ​​- English / French; Full Degree in Science, major in Mathematics and Biology and Sciences 1st degree; Full Degree in Social Studies, with specialization in Moral and Civic Education and Social Studies 1st degree; and plus Nursing, Operations Engineering - Modality Construction, Business Administration, Economics and Accounting.
