The University of Brasilia was inaugurated on 21 April 1962. Currently, it has 2,445 teachers, technical and administrative 2,630 and 28,570 regular students and 6,304 graduate. It consists of 26 institutes and colleges and 21 specialized research centers. It offers 109 undergraduate courses, 31 and 10 the night away. There are still 147 postgraduate courses sensu and 22 specializations broad sense. The courses are divided into four campuses around the Distrito Federal. Darcy Ribeiro (Pilot Plan), Planaltina, Ceilândia and Gama the support bodies include the University Hospital, the Central Library, the Veterinary Hospital and Clean Water Farm.
