Indo Tech University turns 27 years of institutional life, in 1985 the Center for Computer Studies under the name of Computer Servisistemas Indoamérica, training center to serve the youth of the province of Tungurahua, was established in 1990, the Ministry of Education , Culture and Sports, authorizing its operation as Indoamérica Superior Technical Institute, and in 1992 was elevated to the category of Technological Institute Superior Indoamérica. At the request of public and private institutions, associations and professional associations of the city of Ambato, coupled with the requirement of parents and students in the year 1996 it begins to manage the creation of University and the CONUEP. Indo Tech University is created in the city of Ambato on July 21, 1998, by Law No. 112, published in Official Gazette No. 373 of July 31, 1998. The CONESUP, the July 22, 2004 approves the creation of the extension of the University in the city of Quito by Resolution RCP.S13.No.271.04.
