The institution was created in 1966 with the aim to train Chilean workers. The needs of economic development, coupled with the lack of an offer of technical education in the Chile of those years, were imperative to create a more professional training system. INACAP born so closely linked to the productive sector, driven by the development needs human capital of companies. This fact inspires foundational to today's educational model INACAP, particularly the pedagogical approach of Learning by Doing and integrated Higher Education Degree Gradual system that allows our students gradually obtain technical and professional titles. After five decades, INACAP continues with this work and is the leading organization in training of workers. But in recent decades, also known INACAP expanded to meet and often anticipate the new demands of an increasingly competitive country, developed and inserted in the world.
