With the name of San Carlos, the founders of the institution, intended to pay tribute to the Real Colegio Seminario de San Carlos, because of its importance in the process of cultural formation of our country. In colonial times, the most enlightened priests Creole clergy and many managers and executors of National Independence attended their classrooms, which opened to the Paraguayan youth of their time, opportunities for improvement, hitherto forbidden.
The name chosen compromises the efforts of those who lead them, as well as formed above those who were to play a prominent role in the last days of the Colony and the Independence Revolution, this institution up to its slogan Revolution educational train people in their intellectual and moral integrity, through excellence as a means to serve the society and thus contribute to the development of our Paraguay.
