Regional Autonomous University of Los Andes, UNIANDES presents a respectful greeting to the university community and its sphere of influence and is available to the company as an open academic system, producer of scientific applications - technological innovations and with management capacity and operating developing a real educational process, to give the country and the world, a comprehensive and competent professional in different areas of knowledge. Regional Autonomous University of Los Andes "UNIANDES" was created pursuant to Art. 7 of the Law of Universities and Polytechnics of Ecuador. It is based on the report No. 01235 of October 10, 1996 issued by the National Council of Universities and Polytechnic Schools CONUEP; the law creating the University issued by the National Congress on January 9, 1997 and published in the Official Gazette No. 07 of February 20, 1997, thus becoming the Republic Act. Besides the University Statute approved by the CONUEP, according to resolution No. 02 of October 15, 1997, as amended, as Of. No. CONESUP.STA of 28 May 2001; and, Tele System Project authorized by the CONUEP according to resolution No. 00853 of September 23, 1998.
