The December 27, 2006 By Resolution No. 49/06 the University Council gives a favorable opinion for the creation of the Private University of Guaira. August 27, 2007 is created by National Law No. 3301 Universidad Privada del Guaira. Foundation, which aims to become an institution that accompany the changes to new horizons in the Paraguayan Education and starring in the defense of our sovereignty, through the promotion of education and culture, promoting the project to create the University Privada del Guaira (UPG).
