Antenor Orrego Private University is an academic institution of the highest scientific, technological and humanistic level that seeks to cooperate with the collective efforts of the country and the region as well as participating in achieving development goals worthy of our country. UPAO was created by Law No. 24879, promulgated on July 26, 1988, with the following careers: Civil Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Computer and Systems Engineering and Architecture. Two years later, Law No. 25168, it expands with racing Obstetrics, Early Childhood Education, Law and Communication Sciences. The University was institutionalized in March 1994, by resolution of the National Assembly of Rectors, after a successful management organization.
