The National Council for the authorization and operation of Universities (CONAFU), by Resolution 238-2001 of December 4, 2002, approved the Institutional Development Project (PDI) of the University, whose content deals with the Vision, Mission, Objectives, Academic and University Management organization and programming activities and annual budgets projected into the first five years of institutional life.
By Resolution 167-2002, the CONAFU decided to grant provisional authorization of operation at the Peruvian University of Science and Informatics, based in the city of Lima, to train university graduates in engineering professions and Information Systems and Accounting, Audit and Finance .In February 2004, the CONAFU through Resolution 028-2004, authorized the first admission process and the examinations on Sunday 25 April of the same year were performed.By Resolution 029 of 10 February 2004, the National Council for the Authorization of Operation of Universities (CONAFU) decided to "declare concluded the process of adaptation of the Peruvian University of Science and Informatics, based in Lima and Lima, to the Law on Promotion of Investment in Education approved by Legislative Decree No. 882, requested by the Promoter University Association ".
