The Pan American University was founded in 1967 as a business school. The original group of academics and businessmen who gave birth in that year the Pan American Institute of Senior Business Management (IPADE) became little later, in promoting what is now the Universidad Panamericana Universidad Panamericana. The Pan American Institute of Humanities (IPH) immediate predecessor of the Pan American University, was born in 1968. In 1978, the IPH was elevated to the rank of University, and took the name Universidad Panamericana, although in fact, IPADE and IPH from their beginnings conceived knowledge of a unitary and universal, ie university. The Pan American University has three campuses and a venue that serve nearly 12,000 students in 33 races. The first campus opened in Mexico City in 1968, then in 1981 and Guadalajara in 1989. The headquarters Aguascalientes Santa Fe, also in Mexico City, opened in 2011. It also has the School of Management ESDAI institutions.
