The title of Clerk or Notary was originally granted in Argentina by higher courts exercising supervision over notaries and other ancillary professional bodies of justice. By the late nineteenth century, the Chamber of Notaries of the Province of Buenos Aires founded the School Notary in order to train aspiring Escribanos probanza to pay examination before the Supreme Court, which operated between 1896 and 1907.
In 1910, after the enactment of Law 7048, he began a university degree required for the exercise of the notarial function. As a result, the National University of La Plata, and then the University of Buenos Aires created Notaries racing .. While training for the exercise of the notarial function reached the university level, it was short-lived career, which included only encoded material.In response to the complexity of the functions of notaries in the 1930s, the College of Notaries of the Province of Buenos Aires led training activities to promote legal and notary research and address concerns of professional development.
