We are doctors, dentists, biochemists, pharmacists, physical therapists, nurses, nutritionists, food engineers Environmentalists and engineers. The National Ecological University was founded in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, on February 8, 1999. He began academic activities in July of the same year with Racing Engineering Environmental Engineering Food and Physiotherapy and Kinesiology. In March 2000, he obtained the authorization to open and run for Careers in Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy and Biochemistry.The team of professionals who participated in the founding of the University and joined it, was composed of the following persons: Dr. Xerxes Justinian Talavera, Dr. Xavier Gómez-García Rodríguez, Dr. Edgar Gutiérrez, Dr. Albero Pessoa Alcocer, Dr. José Alba Miranda, Dr. Jose Luis Gutierrez, Dr. Mario Cuziortis, Dr. Mario Sandy Gamarra, Lic.
