Universidad Nacional del Este, was created by Law No. 250, dated October 22, 1993; thus it became a reality the dream of young altoparanaenses wishing forward to have a public university in the area of the Three Borders that offers them the opportunity to pursue higher education without having to leave their homes and thus avoid the exodus.
Thus it is given the legal establishment of the National University of the East, but missing most importantly, bring the facts available to this Act and for this purpose an integrated Coordinating Committee was formed by: Dr. Gilberto Ruiz Carvallo, by the Faculty Economic Sciences (coordinator); Ing Laviosa Geronimo, from the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering.; Lic. Genaro Bogado Roman, from the Faculty of Philosophy and Lic. Daniel Britez, Polytechnic Faculty (members), to carry out the formation of the Governing Bodies of the Universidad Nacional del Este.
