The National University of Lujan aims to produce knowledge, transmit and link with society trying to offer solutions to the problems that afflict it and at the same time, find the full development of the individual are the goals that characterize the university life. In the specific case of the National University of Luján, who shaped the idea of ​​what should be allowed and which was founded by Law 20031 of December 20, 1972, conceived a modern university with departmental structure, regional centers and linked to their research and extension work to the region which nurtures and which aspires to serve. Surely, and by its particular history, this university is felt by society as a conquest. Its closure occurred in 1980, during a dark period of the Argentine past, was repaired in an act of strict justice with the enactment of Law 23044, which ordered its reopening, which occurred on July 30, 1984, and reinstated democracy in our country. Since then he has consolidated his image so that, every year, several thousand young people choose to start UNLu higher education in one of its degree programs. This House aims that students achieve a solid academic background, leading to this level of excellence in teaching and research professionals who have been entrusted with this important mission.
