In recent years, La Salle University in Bolivia (ULS) has been developing its activities, always trying to impress upon them the philosophy of St. John Baptist de La Salle, "deepen the experience of the University as an institution of higher education under inspiration Roman document of the decade of the nineties 'Ex Corde Ecclesiae'. " And it is in this sense that La Salle University in Bolivia is based on four pillars, which make university life: The Academy, or transmitting knowledge through a quality teaching staff and continuous professional development courses; research, as part of the search for and production of new knowledge; social interaction, in which the university community applies the knowledge acquired in the classroom to practical situations of the Bolivian reality; and social extension, which the University opens its doors to the community, especially the neediest.
