On June 20 of the year 2003, the Universidad Internacional Tres Fronteras (UNINTER) by Law No. 2,142 is created. Its founders, Dr Juan Gregorio Silvero and Eng. Gustavo R. Duarte, decided to use their experience in managing universities, accepting the challenge of designing the first private university headquartered in Ciudad del Este. In August 2003 UNINTER classes in the opening race of Law, Business Administration and Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Telecommunications are started. Currently these students are part of the first class of the UNINTER. In addition to undergraduate courses in 2,003 courses in Electronics Technician and Senior Technician in Public Relations, Ceremonial and Protocol they were opened.
