On 8 May 2001, the plenary Chamber of Deputies, examined the said project, (then named its positive verdict of the Education Commission of the legislative body), and adopted by a majority, the creation of this university . In 1971, after several years teaching in public and private schools from various regions of our country, our Director, Prof. Nidia Romero Sanabria, with the encouragement of his daughter, also a teacher, Maria Nidia Romero Sanabria (+) and numerous colleagues, national authorities, parents and her husband, Don Anibal Romero Ramos and his sons Hannibal and Sanie, is proposed to open a unique school, with the name of "ART WORKSHOP LITERARY".
