The University of the Latin American Educational Center, UCEL, was created in 1993 within a civil association nonprofit. Evangelical Methodist institution solid and proven track record, whose history goes back almost 150 years ago, when two American educators arrived in the country to work with the educational enterprise of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento.
The story begun by both young people was continued by identical ethical and educational reasons, whose hard work over the years created new projects and enabled the expansion of its facilities incorporating different levels of education. In July 2007, the final authorization granted by the Ministry of Education's Office confirmed UCEL Argentina as the only institution of the city and the region to have all educational levels crowning a long history of commitment, growth and educational tradition.
