In 1965, they were created in Mendoza two educational establishments: the Higher Institute of Business and the Institute of Psychology. They were merged in 1966 under the name of Institute of Higher Education Aconcagua. the founding assembly decided to adjust and change the listed names. Thus he was born the Faculty of Social and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Psychology, respectively. Faculty of Economics and Commercial Sciences, which started operations in 1967. The three schools were integrated under a new category and name: University of Aconcagua addition, the creation of a new faculty was resolved. The organization received the ultimate recognition as a private university in 1973 (Decree 2227, National Executive).
