The University of the Hemispheres (UDLH) is a university private, nonprofit, located in Quito , Ecuador . The University is guided by the principles derived from the primary consideration of the person and a Christian vision of man, society and the world, which can be summarized as: love of truth, unity between faith and reason, solidarity. This view may be shared by those who, whatever their religious beliefs, they conceive the human being in his bodily and spiritual reality. The UDLH aims to train excellent professionals that are high values ​​of integrity and person. "The courses offered at the University of the hemispheres are defined as mixed, open and complex, to promote a multi-purpose and inclusive education, where besides the own content of each race, the study of the human sciences is encouraged as a way to drive students seeking truth and critical reflection of the world in which they live. Currently it has 4 faculties: Business Administration , Legal and Political Sciences , Arts and Humanities and Communication .It has agreements in several universities in Europe, USA and Latin America, where students and teachers exchange experience. It also has agreements with other institutions such as the University Residence Ilinizas for students who come from outside. Each year, in conjunction with the ""Corporation for Studies and Publications (CEP)"" , the University promotes international law contest, inviting teachers and groups of researchers around the world to send mail your unpublished works. The award is currently valued at five thousand dollars ($ 5,000)."
