Sustainable Development University is a Christian university born from the projects sponsored by the Genesis Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of culture since 1997 and started its activities in education in 2002. from 2008 the Genesis Foundation opens the University Sustainable Development adopted by the Council of Universities (res. No. 36/06 Act No. 09 of 25/09/06) and created by Law of the Land No. 3,334 / 07 . University Sustainable Development provides an answer to the pressing and urgent need for professionals who contribute to the knowledge and management of the basic principles of sustainable development. The application of these principles has resulted in improved quality of life based on the proper use of natural resources and environmental ethics that sees nature and human beings as God's creation, as the UDS is based on the doctrine Christian. The ultimate goal seeking UDS is to glorify God by participating in the realization of His Kingdom, by His grace and according to His will. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
