Today, more than seven thousand graduates of the University UNIACC are protagonists of different working contexts of the world of communication. The genesis of the UNIACC dates back to 1981 when the technical training center called Superior (CFT IACC) Institute of Arts and Communication Sciences was created. It was the first higher education center specializing in training professionals for the world of communications Chile. Thus, curricula and careers leading to the formation of senior technicians in the fields of audiovisual communication and advertising generated. In 1987, the IACC CFT granted official recognition and became the IACC Professional Institute. In 1989, with the support of outstanding professionals, the University of Arts, Sciences and Communication, UNIACC was founded. UNIACC born with the purpose of developing an institutional academic project and committed to the promotion of art, culture, humanities, new technologies and communications.
