The Continental University of Sciences and Arts is the legal figure created in 1999 by the College of Arts Foundation to act as university higher education institution, according to the Costa Rican State requirements established by the National Council for Higher Education University Private (CONESUP ). Its operation was approved at the meeting CONESUP 373 22 4 April 1999. However, the University is born many years before. His early contributions in the history of Costa Rica started when the former School of Ceramics, built by great exponents of plastic, theorists and art historians of the period was created.
