University Baptist Medical Center was founded in 2009 with the objectives of support, continue to promote, strengthen and improve the activities so far developed by the institution called Baptist Hospital , based in Asuncion, tending to the care, protection and restoration of physical, mental and spiritual health of the population. Promote training, and training medical personnel, paramedics and other health professionals to improve the delivery of services at the Baptist Medical Center and other medical institutions of the country, public or private.Encourage and promote scientific research aimed at providing new skills and knowledge to Medical Sciences that contribute to improving or restoring human health. This objective includes the provision of personal financial aid, grants and training courses for health professionals and other officials for training and professional development.
