"Catholic University Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo (USAT) is promoted and sponsored by the Diocese of Chiclayo in Lambayeque, Peru university. It was founded by Msgr. Ignacio Maria de Orbegozo and Goicoechea in 1998 and is a university private, non-profit and permanent community service duration." The main purpose of the USAT is to achieve a synthesis between faith and culture, leading to the integral development of people and the development of society. His university community is made up of teachers, students and graduates, devoted to study, research and dissemination of truth. In that sense, the college trains professionals and people who demonstrate, at all times and in all areas, respect for the human person and his freedom, tolerance and capacity for dialogue; love of wisdom, learning to share and teach with humility; and passion for research, to be contemplative and deep in their university life.
