The Autonomous University of Veracruz Villa Rica is a private institution of higher education located in the city of Veracruz the municipality of Boca del Rio , Veracruz . Some of their careers are affiliated with the curriculum of the highest seat of higher education in Mexico, UNAM . At present it is envisaged among the 100 best universities in the country, list compiled by the magazine Readers Digest Mexico. The Autonomous University of Veracruz Villa Rica created in response to the need to increase the educational opportunities in the state of Veracruz. The university began operating in 1972, obtaining the incorporation to UNAM to impart higher studies in the Veracruz-Boca del Rio campus with degrees in administration, accounting and six months later, the law degree. Years later, the university expanded its educational offerings with the addition of higher level studies in psychology. Additionally, the institution is presented as the first private educational institution to offer graduate studies in the port of Veracruz with the delivery of the MBA.
