From December 1988, the story that gave life to an educational project begins to be written with the support of a group of students, teachers, workers, parents and community, same that respond to the demand of having a properly Laguna University to offer a response to the needs of the region. From that moment, the work succeeded to give life to the Autonomous University of La Laguna, an institution that has official certification of studies of the Constitutional Government of the State of Coahuila and the Constitutional Government of the State of Durango, also it is part of the national education system.
