Simon Bolivar Andean University is an academic institution with an international vocation, created as a center at the crossroads experiences, values ​​and initiatives of the countries of the Andean region, and as a mechanism of contact with other university and cultural areas of the world. As a center of excellence, the university dedicated to research, teaching and service delivery, especially for the transmission of scientific and technological knowledge. It is proposed, likewise, promote the spirit of cooperation and coordination between the universities of the subregion, and contribute to the creation and strengthening of the principles of the Andean Community.
