The University of Rio Verde - UniRV is a historic conquest of Rioverdense people. In recent years, grew, it consolidated its position as major university and has become a benchmark and one of the most renowned in Brazil. Serious and quality work which is developed by senior management, teachers, administrative technicians and academics servers, and that has been reversed in academic-scientific credibility in society. The UniRV was founded in 1973 and today is one of the leading higher education institutions of the State of Goiás. It has been called Fafi (Faculty of Philosophy), Furv (Rio Verde University Foundation) in March 1973 became FESURV (Foundation of Rio Verde of Higher Education) and on February 24, 2003, through Law No. 4541, the University of Rio Verde was created - UniRV.
