International University of Moldova (UCCM) was founded in 1993 by the Government of Moldova (judgment of 22 June 1993 No. 376) and Moldcoop Management (judgment of 24 June 1993, pr.verb. No. 10 pts. 5) is accredited by the Decision of the Ministry of Education and Youth nr.11.3 of 29 November 2007 (certificate of accreditation Series Nr.000130 AU) and possesses licenses Licensing Chamber of Moldova Series a MMII Nr.029073 reissued on 18.06.2008, science is accredited by the National Council for accreditation and Attestation (certificate of accreditation organization in the field of science and inovrii Series Nr.004) under Commission Decision accreditation CNAA no. AC-06/2 of 12 November 2009, is an affiliate member of the Academy of Sciences (Certificate member of the Academy of Sciences, Series MA nr.04 of 29 July 2010). "UCCM is a member of the Cooperation Memorandum of cooperative institutions of higher education in CIS countries (a.1995), the International Association of Universities (1999. During), the International Association of Commercial-Economic Education Institutions (year 2000), of World Association of Commodity Science and Technology (a.2006), the International Academy of Cooperatives (a.2008). Also UCCM is a signatory of Magna Charta Universitatum (a.2011). UCCM 2006 started the implementation of quality management system under ISO 9001: 2000. In February 2009 has been certified external nr.6986 obtaining certificate of 16 February 2009 for implementing and maintaining SMC in academic and educational services in January 2010 to transition to the new ISO 9001: 2008. The certification was performed by the Romanian Society for Quality Assurance in partnership with IQNet (The International Certification Network). In 2012, UCCM has re-certified quality management system for 2012-2015."
