Over the past quarter of a century, Tokyo University of Information Sciences (TUIS) has trained experts in the information field based upon what is a unique founding spirit and educational philosophy among private schools, and we have produced large numbers of exceptionally talented individuals who can play an active role in society. TUIS deploys a highly capable faculty, and we are constantly working to further enhance our educational environment, facilities, and equipment as we seek to offer highly specialized and cutting-edge instruction in information sciences. I believe it is the mission of this university to imbue our students with expertise and practical ability that are backed by the kind of solid knowledge and techniques that will enable them to respond to the dizzying changes occurring in today’s information society.
