The Tashkent financial institute was established under the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan PD 207 on May 13th, 1991 and is a leading basic higher educational institution not only in Uzbekistan, but also in whole Central Asia. Today, about 6 thousand students are trained by about 450 lecturers at high professional level at TFI. Highly qualified professionals in banking, finance, insurance, project financing, securities, taxation, accounting and audition are taught in 6 departments that include 25 sub faculties for bachelor students as well as master students that are prepared in 18 directions and 13 specializations.
