State Agrarian University of Moldova fructifies a history of 80 years, which started on 9 April 1933 promulgation by HM King Carol II of Law transformation Department of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Iasi in the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences with headquarters in Chisinau and has made many changes in the complex history of our country.
Faculty of Agricultural Sciences in 1938 and was renamed the Faculty of Agronomy and two other faculty formed Politehnica "Gh. Asachi" Iaşi, the faculty still remaining in Chisinau.August 1940 by Decision Norodnici Soviet Commissars of the USSR and CC of the CP (b) U under the Faculty of Agriculture organized the Agricultural Institute in Chisinau with three faculties: Viticulture, Animal Husbandry and Crop. In February 1941 the Institute was awarded the name of MV Frunze. The first director of the Institute was N. Bosoi.
