Phuket Rajabhat University The University was formerly the Phuket Teacher’ College which was a part of the Ministry of Education’s plan with the main aim being to produce teachers and other educational personnel in accordance with the objectives for educational development as stipulated in the Third Thai Economic and Social Development Plan (1972-1976).
Phuket Rajabhat University provides diversified and quality education, performs all academic missions in response to the needs of the individual and society. It also helps to develop and strengthen the community growth in a sustainable way by focusing on quality of life, tourism, environment, arts and culture. 14th June 2004: The Royal Gazette announced the Rajabhat University Act which resulted in all Rajabhat Institutes becoming university on 15th June 2004.
