As the largest single provider of vocational education and training in the North East of Scotland, North East Scotland College plays an important role in meeting the educational and training needs of individuals, firms and communities in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. North East Scotland College was formed on the first of November 2013 from the merger of Aberdeen College and Banff & Buchan College.The new regional college will serve an extensive geographical area with its main centres of delivery in Aberdeen and Fraserburgh.The main NESCol campus – Aberdeen City Campus, is based at the Gallowgate in Aberdeen. The College has three other sites in and around Aberdeen - Aberdeen Altens, Aberdeen Craibstone and Aberdeen Clinterty.
