The National School of Forestry Science (ESNACIFOR) for over 40 years has been training professionals in this field, both for the Republic of Honduras to Mesoamerica. Since its inception to date, the level of education has evolved in response to the demands of society and the changes that technology is urging. Thus ESNACIFOR begins with professionals whose only requirement was to own sixth grade, and technical training lasted one year; Of course, the demands increase to three years in high school, and now the whole school, both the degree of Forester to the Forest Engineer is required.
