Metropolitan College of New York (MCNY), formerly known as Audrey Cohen College, is a private college located at 431 Canal Street in Manhattan, New York City in Hudson Square. The college was founded in 1964 by educational pioneer Audrey Cohen as the Women's Talent Corp and was renamed the College for Human Services in 1970, when it was granted a Charter by the New York State Board of Regents. It was renamed Audrey Cohen College in honor of its founder in 1992 and Metropolitan College of New York in 2002. After a reorganization completed in September 2007, MCNY consists of two schools, The Audrey Cohen School for Human Services and Education, and The School for Management. Together, the schools offer undergraduate and graduate programs in Human Services, Education, Emergency Management, Business and Media Management.
