"Lowestoft College has enjoyed a long and varied history since it was first established in the town 140 years ago.
Over the years, thousands of people have been through the doors to develop the new skills and qualifications they need for their future careers. Lowestoft College was originally established as an art college, but, over the years, more courses have been introduced and today range from the construction trades and engineering, to care, hairdressing and beauty therapy, as well as travel, catering, business, sport and uniformed services."

Here are some of the reasons why:Lowestoft College has continued to play a major role in the local community and is continually looking at how it can continue to meet the training needs of today’s workforce. As well as offering the more traditional courses, the College has been developing new programmes including a pre-apprenticeship with the ECITB, social media and sales apprenticeships in association with Hoseasons Holidays, a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts in partnership with the DPA Performing Arts Academy and has also introduced a new video games course.
