Lancaster University is a campus university dedicated to excellence through teaching and research. The Faculty brings together a critical mass of expertise in teaching, research and outreach from four established divisions and their associated centres: Biomedical and Life Sciences, CETAD, Health Research and Lancaster Medical School.
Lancaster Medical School is one of the newest departments at Lancaster University, consisting of the Lancaster Medical School, which delivers the MBChB degree, and CHICAS (Combining Health Information, Computation and Statistics), a research group that focuses on medical statistics and epidemiology. Other research within the Medical School spans all aspects of Medicine including basic biomedical research, social and ethical aspects of health and medicine, and medical education.
