Kyoto Pharmaceutical University (KPU) was founded as a pre-pharmacy course in Kyoto Private German School by 18 disciples of Rudolf Lehmann in 1884 and is the second oldest private school of pharmacy in Japan. Under the motto ”Philosophia et Praktikos”, we are working on nurturing pharmacists with high expertise and rich human nature. Over 22,000 graduates of KPU have contributed greatly, with high appraisal, in pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, pharmacies, universities, and administrative agencies.
