Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT) is a public sector University established in 2014 as a first Engineering and IT university in south Punjab. It is named after the famous Sufi poet Khawaja Ghulam Fareed. He is considered one of the most famous 19th century Sufi poet, scholar and writer. Establishment of KFUEIT is a dynamic initiation of Government of Punjab. This institute aspires to be a Centre of excellence for Engineering and IT which acts as an effective agent of change and model for others to emulate. It adds up greatly to the professional education system of the region. Initially University started its administrative operations and academic activities mainly in the premises of Government College of Technology Rahim Yar Khan. The University is aimed to move to its own land measuring 220 acres on Abu Dhabi road Rahim Yar Khan within two months. Khawaja Fareed University of Engineering & Information Technology crowned with the opening of new Engineering and Information Technology complex in 2014, providing the modern teaching methodologies and research facilities needed for perpetual success in the era of science and technology.A comprehensive range of undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered led by dynamic and passionate teaching faculty treasured up with fund of learning in research and innovation. The faculty is pleased to host programs particularly focusing on Engineering & IT education for Indigenous candidates and Engineers with international qualification. All of our programs yield graduates who can utilize their engineering knowledge for the betterment of the humanity and catalyze the economy to produce wealth for the welfare of the society particularly from southern Punjab to across country.
