The Center of Medical Education and Clinical Investigations "Norberto Quirno" (CEMIC) is a private non-profit organization of public good and University. He was born in 1958 from the innovative vision of Dr. Norberto Quirno and a group of committed disciples, who wanted to improve Argentina medicine. This vision has made ​​this institution a leader and benchmark in the area of health. Teaching is one of the pillars holding the high quality of medical care provided by the CEMIC. Therefore, from its inception in 1958, he took formal commitment to higher education, partnering with the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Buenos Aires, UBA, to teach students of the School of Medicine. In late 1997, and thanks to the teaching and research work developed since the CEMIC obtained authorization from the National Executive to create the IUC.
