ISEC's mission is to promote the realization of the whole person through the development of teaching and research with high quality standards, adopting a personalistic view of man and a consciousness of social responsibility. Officially recognized in August 1991, ISEC defines itself as an establishment of private higher education and research, of non-profit nature whose mission is to give scientific, technical, cultural, educational, professional and human formation. As an institution of public utility, ISEC wants to point to a national growth oriented by the needs of the country as well as the objectives that statutorily chases, thus helping to develop qualified, integrated and harmonious higher education in Portugal.
